Guitar was really stressful for me but I'm excited to be able to comfortably learn music over the summer with no deadlines. Some songs I hope to learn are Giants by Bear Hands. (I don't know what's up with the weird anime thing, it's a good song though). The Middle by Jimmy Eat World (saw that one live at ACL amazziinngggg). Last would have to be...Say Something by A Great Big World ft Christina Aguilera.
Is this my last blog?
THANKS FOR READING THEM ALL
YOUR CLASS WAS GREAT
I HAD A LOT OF FUN
GOOD LUCK TO YOU MR. A!!
I don't know anything about music and I think that's why I avoid blogging. That's a dumb excuse but whatever. I really liked this class because I not only got to learn about the making of music, but all sides of music. Each day I was exposed to new music that I may have judged right off the back and said "ew" or just didn't know about it and it's like I've been exposed to new worlds.
I'm kind of sad Mr. A is leaving but it's cool that I got to be in his last class as a Sophomore. There will be legends of Mr. A's awesome class and "oh do you remember Mr. A".I'm really glad I got to be in this class all year, it was a lot of fun and I'm glad I had the experience. Thanks Mr. A.

Have a great summer!

Today we are watching Reincarnated. The documentary about Snoop Dog Lion. I personally thought the whole Snoop Lion thing was dumb because I thought all he wanted from the Rastafarian culture because of the weed. Although watching this documentary showed me he doesn't only care about smoking weed so I have gained a bit of respect for him.
I do like some of Snoop Lions reggae album. I also like some of Snoop Dogs albums. I don't know a lot about him so I'm happy to better understand him.

Recently I haven't been listening to music. Its weird I've noticed more stress and anxiety in my life since I don't have music to calm my nerves. I think music has a huge influence on mental, physical, and social health. If we don't have music to emphasize with us, we might feel neglected and stressed.
Ive blogged about how music always feels the way I do and I think its really important to everyone especially people who have a lot of stress. We just finished research projects and a few did theirs on how music affects people. It helps with memory, stress, anxiety, and even social anxietys.
On Thursday,  we watched a documentary about the creation of American Idiot on Broadway.  I got to see the play and I really liked it. I think I blogged about it too. The documentary was really cool though.  I loved being able to learn why certain things were playing and why certain choreography was in it.
It was a really nice change from our on going rap and hip hop streak.  It was fun to be able to think Ohh THATS WHY THEY DID THAT.
Green Day is also amazing. 21 Guns is one of my favorite songs.  I grew up on our mutual hatred for the stupidity and ignorance in america.

So I recently discovered this thing on youtube called What it Again. It just shwos old videos you use to watch. Recently all it has done is made me realize the odd and disgusting phases I've been through. Like the Die Antwoord one... I'm sorry you had to see that.
I really like this song. His voice is kind of funny so I always smile when I hear it. I also like that it makes you think about appreciating all you have. I never really listened to Passenger that I know of. This is a nice song though; a little simple, but nicely simple.
I only have one class to blog about sorry. Cell phones are always in class, even if the teacher doesn't see it. Kids have been sneaking them around in their pockets and hoodies. I even had a hoodie with secret headphones so I could jam out to anxty teen emo rock in Texas history.
This "new" policy isn't gonna last. As soon as finals hit no ones going to care about any of the legal stuff. Everyone just wants school to be done.
Cell phones will come back and people need to calm down, its like 2 weeks just stop whining and get your stuff together.
Sorry I haven't been doing my blogs.
So the new cell phone policy thing is dumb. I just don't think it's that big of a deal though? We aren't suppose to have our phones out in the first place. Now everyone can't ignore their teachers and play useless games (was that a bit hypocritical?). Anyway we've snuck phones into class before and will continue to do it. I don't have a lot of strong opinions on this.

Every morning I wake up to MTV playing the same few songs over and over again. My favorite so far is La la la by Naughty Boy. Its featuring Sam something. Ill put a link in here. I love the continuous la las in the background. At first I hated them because I always did my la las different when ignoring my brothers. I thought the video was based off the wizard of oz but Im not sure. The child is Dorothy, the stolen chow chow is Toto, the music man in the dance club is the tin man, the elephant suit police man is the scarecrow, and the frozen stone in the cave to me is the great oz but my boyfriend thinks its the cowardly lion.
I also like the lyrics, my favorite being the chorus "I cover my ears like a kid, when your words mean nothing I go la la la". I took this as ignoring insults or rude comments and thinking of something happier.
Hope you enjoyed!
Have a great week.
Last time we talked about the ACL line up. Im really excited about Lorde but I don't get to see her which kind of sucks. I'm only going the first weekend which also sucks because I would love to go see all the bands I missed the first weekend. I'm a little disappointed that Skrillex is going just because I don't think hes all that great. I use to be obsessed with him but now Im just thinking his career is kind of over.  I know he came out with a new album but I haven't listened to it. Nor do I really want to.
I am excited for ACL though. I hope the weather is as great as last years first weekend.

For Easter weekend I am going to Wyatt's house again so hopefully he'll share some good music to blog about. Recently my favorite song is Habits by Tov Lo. I keep reading the name as tuff love. I really like the vocals and beat of the song. The singers a bit like Lorde with her beauty and inability to dance without summoning Satan. I really like the song though. I'll try to look more into the band.
Happy Easter

Currently were watching Nirvana on MTV unplugged. I've always had a bit of a bitter attitude towards live performances just because they usually expose how the singer cant really sing. Since there's not as much editing and autotuning it just annoys me. I always thought of live performances as exposing an artists true talent; which in recent times isn't even present.
Nirvana has a great live performance though. I also learned this at ACL but some artists do have real talent and its not just autotuning :D.
Mr. A brought up Eric Clapton and his son falling out of a window. This caused him to write Tears in Heaven which is the song Daniel Ethridge sang at my grandmother's memorial service. So that song and artist have a special place in my heart. I think my mom got to see Eric Clapton live as well which is cool.
This week we've been listening to Nirvana. I think Kurt's scratchy voice is kind of soothing but its hard for me to pay attention to the lyrics themselves. I really like Come as You Are just because it has a nice message and a cool beat.

One of the main great things that this class has done for me is take away the obnoxious question "what song is this, who is it by?!" When we listen to albums ill hear a song and be like OMG I KNOW THAT SONG I LOVE IT LET ME WRITE IT DOWN. But this class is awesome, this year I had to do a lot of coming out of my shell and it sucked but I did it.

Have a great week

Next two songs that came on were White Teeth Teens by Lorde and A World Alone. Lorde's not so new album Pure Heroine is great! I got hooked on her after Royals (sorry) and went searching for more of her music and loved it! White Teeth Teens is amazing and Glory and Gore is too. I love that she's so young but is doing so great. She's only like 17? I'm so proud of her!
Thanks for reading!
Happy rainy weekend!!<3
In this current moment I am listening to Animal by Mike Snow and Stars by the XX. I've been listening to the XX for I think two years now? It's calm and relaxing. It has a mix of piano, bass, and electronic. A few songs I really like are Heart Skipped A Beat and Vcr.
Thanks for reading :)
Happy Prom
It feels like everyday our class gets pulled into hip hop, and I mean I like the discussions but I just don't like the music. I've said this in countless blogs but I don't know our class more than 3/4 hip hop and/or rap fans. I will say that some of the rap songs can be funny and enjoyable. It's also pretty cool to see the rhymes in the songs and actually get to understand what they're saying.
Thanks for reading
Happy Prom?
This week in class we had hair metal day, and I. LOVE. Bon Jovi. Were going to build a time machine and he will become my husband. We will live happily ever after somewhere in the 80's and have no kids because I don't like kids. WE'LL BE LIVIN ON A PRAYER.

I'm sorry for this.

I feel like I've already made a blog about The Strokes, but ima do another one because they're great.
I love the smooth rhythm and elegant sound of the Strokes. Songs like Reptillia, You Only Live Once (yolo can kind of dig its own grave and die in it.), um Last Night, Hard to Explain, and Someday. I dont really know how to explain my love for the Strokes.
But btw, were all so hard on Christian not only because he doesn't know how to talk to adults, but he has no respect for anything.  Just now Mr. A had to tell him to take out his headphones while we were listening to Graceland. Like he has no respect for anything or anyone and I find that really rude, arrogant, and obnoxious.
Sorry that was really off track. The Strokes are great. Listen to them and sing along till you feel better (Haha).
Thanks for reading :)
Have a great weekend!
Today were listening to Paul Simons album Graceland. Lyrically this album is amazing. A lot of the lyrics are really deep not only to Pauls life but maybe to someone else out there (theres plenty I promise). I also really love the sound. The smooth guitar and drum beats just kind of make you happy. I also love that he uses many instruments to imitate sounds from daily lives. Ex. I head a train in the song Graceland (maybe that one Im not sure.
I mean its Paul Simon from Simon and Garfunkel. I had not doubt about his obvious talent.

have a great weekend
Last friday (before spring break) I got an album by Marcus Brown from Mr. A.
I now have millions of videos of, what was my tortoise but is now my boyfriends, in his first bath with the amazing soundtrack playing.
I really enjoy the album. I think a bit of the recording itself needs to be edited. But then again that maybe the style of the song. I love the style of the music and the sound. A lot is based around women like long brown hair, michelle, hey baby, I think set me off, out of hand, set me off, Dont let her get away, I can feel the love, and when you walk away.
I really do enjoy the album though. I listened to it for three days straight. Oops.

Have a great weekend!
Last class we listened to Michael Jackson.
The only memory I really have of him is whenever they found him dead, my grandmothers care taker actually turned off her tennis match to listen to the reports. I remember going to her room and trying to understand why she was bawling her eyes out, and what the big deal was? People die everyday? Why was his death so huge and such filled with conspiracy?
I cared more about his adorable daughter anyway. Is she still out there?
Anyway I dont really like Michael Jackson. His high pitched voice just bothers me. I also think his dance moves are odd intricate ways to grab his privates in front of a crowd? I will admit some songs and dance moves (moonwalk and the leaning thing) do amaze me.
But respect for the dead. He was a great man when he wasnt around children.

So in class we looked at a bunch of other peoples blogs. I loved hearing their opinions and even some people defending the biggest dufus in class. Dont get me wrong hes probably a great guy. Just a lot of what he says and expresses are so... goobish.
What I also got out of the blog viewing was THEYRE SO SHORT. I had like this giant weight off my shoulders because I though these things had to be paragraphs! (The main reason I miss blogs sometimes.) Im so glad I dont have to write paragraphs of me saying words with no meanings.

Have a great weekend
Personally I dont like funk. I like the sound but a little is all I can take.  Like I like to giggle and dance around with one, but I dont wana hear it over and over again. I think a lot of the beats are the same. Like in all artists. I just dont likw how common the same sound is. I think a genre should have a variety. Not just one repeating beat.

Recently ive been listening to Blackmill. Its more of a electronic band. Sort of like the xx. It has soft beats and high voices to create kind of a soothing melody. I really like the song Let it Be. Ill try to add a link when I get a computer. Its off the album Reach for Glory.  I really like this song. It has so many mixed pitches that soothe your mind. It has a lot of fading in and out and I really like that. I like when you dont know what to expect next in a song. It helps me concentrate on it and the sole reason I listen to music is to get away for a few minutes. Its like an escape where everyone is feeling exactly what you feel. I think thats so soothing because you dont have explain anything, they just know and put it into words for you. The mood can change as quickly as yours does.
I love Let it Be because no matter what mood im in it helps.  It always takes care of me when I need it to.

Have a great day
Last time we talked about punk and grunge. I always thought punk just fell into the metal category.  I just thought of it as a style. Like soft grunge and punk are clothes and ways of life. I was really confused about how the music style is so broad and all just by one characteristic.
I usually just put the style of the band if its punk and thats what chatagorizes it. Bands like Nirvana would fall under grunge because of the dark, depressed, black and white style.
I dont really agree with how the bands are categorized. Just because they're "different" or aren't rock or hip hop. I dont get why people jusf put bands under this umbrella that is so broad it doesnt even give an accurate description.
I understand that medias messed up but why say a bunch of bands are what they arent? Its like saying a band like Metallica and Jay- Z are the same category. It just doesnt make sense to me.

I shared XXYYXX About you. People didnt seem to be interested but were more interested in figuring out my name. They all seemed to know the artist and song. After that I played Arctic Monkeys R U Mine. By then no one seemed to give two shits that I was up there. I really expected that. I mean who cares about the one sophomore in a senior class.
The overall experience wasnt my favorite. I like the idea of it though. Im perfectly fine with listening to music I dont like. I just dont like having it piled on me again and again at the end of the day and especially at the end of the week.
I did really like that everyone got a chance to go up and express themselves in a way a lot of us use. I just didnt like the genre of music played.
I think a lot of people abused this because it was a chance for everyone to express themselves but people used it as a joke.
I dont know. I loved the idea and concept of this activity. It was creative and diverse.

Have a great week!
Personally I didnt like our music sharing session. A lot of the music I didnt really like. I dont like rap. I dont like the messages it sends out and what they say. I think a lot of it is mindless and just... inappropriate. To me its all nigga nigga mothafucka weed and I just think thats obnoxious.  I also HATE the n word. We fought a war so African Americans could have rights and respect and now they accept the one word that degrades them most as a positive thing. Even white people and all ethnicities say it and it makes me so mad.
I did like conner and antons music. I currently like sophias as well. Conners black sabbath helped my angered mood while antons personal track gave me hope in humanity because it truly was amazing.
Sophia has similar music taste to my brother and I's and takes me back to ACL. I like the guitar and vocals. Im not concentrating on the lyrics themselves but I am now quiet interested in Spoon. I know I've head this song before.

I guess I'l blog about guitar for my personal music blog. We're learning bar chords which are kind of hard for me right now. I guess moving from one part of the neck to the other is just a bit hard because I'm not to great at speed. Especially when it comes to changing chords (oops). Our first song was All the Small Things by -Blink-182. I use to think this song was called Say it Ain't So. The only hard part about this song is the rhythm; the chords don't change much.
The other song we learned was an old favorite of mine Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes (this one's actually the music video). This song's rhythms easy and it's chords are okay. There's just a lot of them. I also missed the lesson on 5th string notes so I don't have them memorized as well as I would like. I think its 2-B 3-C 5-D 7-E 9-F 10-G 12-A? I don't know it's a lot harder to put that onto a guitar when you haven't practiced it.
I really appreciate that White Stripes have a girl drummer. Any girl in a rock band get respect from me. I think it's a bit harder for them to fit in and get respect from other men. They're all over sexualized and instead of realizing their talent everyone's like THEY'RE SO HOT, IF THEY'RE IN A BAND I CAN TOUCH THEIR BUTT YEAH! Or people just disregard their music because of their gender. I know my brothers usually won't happily listen to rock bands with women singers unless they've heard good things or like the first 5 seconds of it.
Although everyone has a right to their own opinion, and mine is; GUITAR IS SO HARD I NEED TO PRACTICE MORE.

Have a great (hopefully warm) night.
Last time we were in class, the subject  was that RHCP preformed at the Super Bowl and everything but the vocals were fake. Then we read over Flea's "apology" letter. All of this makes me mad. The fact that the band was unplugged the whole performance is the least of my problems. The fact that suddenly Flea has a right to talk for the whole band and that everyone is now putting these characteristics of treachery and deceit on the band because of what Flea explained. I guess I am a little disappointed in the band that the rest of them didn't say something as well. But I'm also appalled that the Super Bowl management demanded that they not preform live but with recorded instruments and only live vocals. There's a lot of things that were messed up in this whole situation. Yes RHCP did wrong, yes they didn't even try to hide it, and yes the super bowl management has something to do with it too.
But RHCP has always been a great band, they have always been great people, and they have amazing life performances. (ACL 2012) They've been a great band through thick and thin and I think we should accept they messed up (they should too) and we just get over this. I am a very bias opinion on this matter because RHCP have always been my idols and I grew up on them. They have been in my life since before I can remember. I do love them to death. (Not literally) I really don't know what to say to this, all in all I am upset, but for many reasons.

Have a great 3 day weekend!

Friday, January 31, 2014

Recently I haven't listened to anything really new. I guess A Great Big World ft. Christina Aguilera's song Say Something is great. The music video makes me think of American Idiot the play because the character who became a heroin addict, his girlfriend looked like the girl in the beginning of the video. They had plenty of scenes in an old messy bed too. I also like Civil Wars' Dust to Dust. I haven't seen the music video yet, but I'll watch it tomorrow.
Maybe I can edit this blog to be a bit longer tomorrow since I'm going to the Anderson Band Concert to see the bae do a saxophone solo! I think a lot of Anderson's band performances are great, not only the marching, but the great music as well. It's not just boring classical music, it has a modern twist on that and I really enjoy it. I think some parents kind of ruin it though because everything is inappropriate these days. (To parents and in reality.)
I don't have a lot to talk about. You should check out Imogen Heap? Some of my favorites by her are Speeding Cars and Hide and Seek. I think Hide and Seek is a really great song to fall asleep too, or play it to let your mind wander into everything you need to hear.
I've known Imogen Heap since I went to Bells Camp for AHS and the "big girls" danced to chasing cars. I was soo jealous because we had to dance to Rihanna and they got this amazing song with beautiful sounds, beats, and lyrics.
This blog was so bad, I'm so sorry.

Have a great weekend :)
I'm honestly terrified to post this blog, but I have nothing better to talk about so what ever. Recently in class we had  a discussion with our always wonderful Christian, apparently he got into an argument with some girls because he said "that's gay" or something like that. But you know he won the argument because he "pulled our the c-word".
This literally made me so so so mad.
1) I don't freak out every time someone says something is "gay" but people need to realize that gay is not an insult, it is not a negative adjective, and no one should be offended by this word.
2) You do NOT "win" an argument because you got the last word. Especially if that word is just a vile and unnecessary word.
3) The second you realized they were insulted by your statement and that it obviously meant more to them than you could ever care you should of just SHUT YOUR  MOUTH! Instead of downing yourself to a level where you just use vulgar language to "win" an argument, how about using those few brain cells you have left.
This may all affect me so much because I am gay. I just think that everyone is so stuck on the fact that queers (a term containing all sexual preferences instead of just gay and lesbian) are soo different from heterosexuals. This is not true. Just because a man likes men doesn't mean hes going to go around raping other men. Like heterosexuals flirt with the opposite sex, homosexuals flirt with the same sex. All you have to do is POLITELY tell them you're not gay. Just like you don't know if someone is gay, how can they tell? Insults, avoidance, and sings of disgust are not necessary!
Some other subjects that came up were not wanting to "be around" people who are gay. Well, Hi :) since we have a class together you are around me. Obviously I haven't affected your life in any way just because I prefer a woman over a man.
If I keep ranting this blog will get obnoxious and dishonest from anger. Soo..
Thanks for reading (Sorry for the abrupt ending)
Have a great weekend :)

Currenlty no music is coming into my mind to blog about, SO I'M GOING TO MAKE A BLOG ABOUT ODD CAT VIDEOS WITH MUSIC.
My newest discovery is Cat Licks Vacuum: The Musical!
This odd, abrupt, adorable song goes a long with one of the famous cat videos among the millions. It includes a cat, of course, licking a vacuum for god knows what reason.

Our next title is Cat Lick You From Your Head To Your Toes (PG13?)
Cats seem to have a weird habit of just...wiggling their tongues. Contentiously. So the genius of our generation added an inappropriate song to it. (May include sexual references.)
This ones my favorite and I've been singing this exact line for the past 4 days. Called Cat Pedal Vine!!! (3 exclamation points!) So... do I really need to put a summary for this one? Submissive cats with odd rap music are the best. Am I right?
And last, but not least is Dubstep Cat. In all honesty I think this is a little mean, but the cat seems okay with it so who am I to whine. This song (Cinema by Benny Benassi Remixed by Skrillex) actually goes way back for the fact that back in my "emo" days my still current boyfriend kind of asked me out with this song. (Lost story, we were stupid 7th graders, don't ask.)
I hope you enjoyed my annoying cat videos with odd music.

Have a winter wonderland weekend!
I wasn't able to really be in class that much this week. I thoroughly apologize for that.
I think I do need to say this though, Mr. A you're class is actually really important to me and the Anderson community. It not only teaches people to appreciate all the history of music but it gives kids a chance to speak their minds as adults. It's not just talking about basic facts but what our lives are going to be like once those facts mean nothing. Our countless debates on matters that will actually influence and come back in our later lives have opened my eyes beyond belief. I maybe just a softmore but because of your class I'm thinking about the outside world, going to college, getting a job, meeting someone (or having already met them), and having a life that matters instead of just... bleh in a desk.
I'm really sorry I wasn't able to be in you're class but that doesn't mean I think it means nothing. It's a place for minds to be free and I know not a lot of people say this, but it means the world to us.
SO, I wanted to go back to Zep. which was a pretty great album as all Led Zeppelin albums are.
We had a sub in guitar class since Mr. Bergdorf was rockin' course fair. I think her name was Ms. Sanda? But you could immediately tell, she was a total rocker chick at heart. Trying to be nice, I picked up a conversation with her. She knew how to play guitar!! (Apparently Mr. Bergdorf caught her playing which I think is perfect and hilarious.) I think she said she has a grandson on the way (YYAY). And Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath were some of her FAVORITE bands.
I started talking to her about how our class seemed to hate Zep. 1 and Zep. 2, which was really disappointing to me since we didn't get to listen to Black Sabbath. But she seemed SHOCKED that ANYONE could possibly not like them!!
I'm hoping you'll realize my connection to actual history of rock and roll in this is; it's not just about the music, but the fans, the life style, and the total amazing-ness of actually being there while this rock/metal revolution was going on! I really enjoyed talking to her and Mr. Bergdorf about the Zeppelin albums and everyone's opinions and perspectives.
This is a really abrupt ending but this blog was all over the place, sorry.
Thanks for reading :)
Have a great (now 3 day) weekend!

I never realized I could blog about the music from the Broadway plays I see every month! (Thank you Broadway Across America).
My most recent view was American Idiot. My dad told me that Green Day actually had a lot to do with the production and were very involved with the choreography and music but I don't really believe that. It was the story of three punk rockers, who were actually pretty funny. They all wanted to leave to New York I'm guessing, although as soon as the guys got their way out, one of the character's girlfriend came out as pregnant so he had to stay with her. The other two boys went on their adventure, but as one loved it, the other just slept all day and wasn't enjoying his new life. Since he thought he had nowhere to go, he joined the war. The last character (whom I think represented the lead singer of Green Day but I'm not sure) was so mad, so he lived the life of a bachelor, partying all night and sleeping all day with the new woman whom he knew to be the love of his life.Soon he got into drugs, like heroin, and got addicted fast. He gained another side to him, who I though represented his addiction, but my mom said represented Death.
That side of him ended up making him leave his love for drugs. She came back and practically said "NO! Fuck you, I'm leaving you!" (pardon my French).
He struggled with getting over his addiction but soon cleaned himself up and got an office job that he hated. So he went home.
While all of this was happening you watched the guys girlfriend leave him because he was a drunk bum who hated his own child and refused to associate with it at all. And the war vet loose his leg, but fall in love with a nurse who soon became his wife.
They all stayed or went back home and met up together, at first they were angry at eachother but soon came together as best friends once more.
I honestly think the music and theme was NOT very Green Day-ish. The choreography was simple and looked like it was trying to be head banging but didnt really fit.
Nothing really fit with Green Day and that kind of upset me, but it was a pretty good play.

Happy MLK Jr Day!

I don't know if this is because I've been in a bad mood today or what but I'm really starting to not like this class... I think the point of the discussions are great but it seems only half the class' contributions are cared about and usually they're so.... Unreasonable.
I mean I get a lot of us choose not to contribute and I'm not trying to get them to, but it seems everything I say is disregarded and all the dumb and off topic comments are taken into mind. Also if you have an opinion that's different from the class it's like you can't say anything without having to justify every living part of it. If I don't like something I don't like it, I don't need to explain or anything. Maybe it's the sound , maybe it's the best, or maybe it's the lyrics. But I don't need to be put in the spot light just because my opinions different.
I just think the people who care are disregarded because lol only nerds care about school!
Maybe it's because I'm a softmore in a senior class... I just feel a little ignored in this class .
I think my opinions matter... I don't feel that I should have to yell over everyone just to contribute.
I'm usually to exhausted to even try to contribute anymore.
Oh well sorry for the rant. I'm really scared Mr. A's gonna call me out on this or try to make me talk more.
I probably shouldn't even post this but my whole point is people who seem below you, their opinions matter too...
Thanks for reading :)
Sorry for the annoying rant

Friday, January 10, 2014

This week we also listened to Mr. A's album. I think I've already wrote a blog about this but I have nothing else to blog about.
I think the songs are like a mix of the Beatles and Daniel Ethridge. Of course I loved the live performance of Sing Along and Feel Better (sorry if I'm butchering all of these song titles) but all live performances are better in my opinion.
LET IT BE JUST CAME ON AND THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS BY THE BEATLES!
But back to Mr. A's album, I like how you've taken so many influences and put them into your own style. It's not like your trying to sound like one single band or artist, it's all kinds of songs, genres, and interests mashed up with your own personal preferences and I love how it actually works all jumbled together. I think it takes a lot to take so many styles and create them into one. I can barley play a tune without it turning into some catchy tune by a band that I usually can't name.
I don't know what to talk about, Ide like to know the stories of some songs like Kimberley and Talk. :)
Just one question? Is your album only coming out on vinyl or are CDs an option too?

Have a great weekend!! :)
Today we are listening to the last Beatles album, took us a whole semester but hey we did it!! Mr. Bergdorf likes to mess with me because every time he sits in on our class a song that we have learned in his guitar class is playing.
Songs like Hey Joe (obviously not Beatles), I Wana Hold Your Hand, and more recently I Saw Her Standing There (I don't know if this counts as a Beatles song but hey it's McCartney and Lennon so well pretend).
But back to Let It Be, this is the album I have been waiting for because it's the only album that contains songs that are actually on my phone. I mean I adore a bunch of other Beatles albums but I just haven't taken the time to download them yet. (I haven't had time to download much of anything honestly).
The lyrics aren't really up on the screen so I don't know what song this is but I'm not the biggest fan of it, I do know it's the first on the album. :)
I think this song is called Nothings Gonna Change My World but I think it's a great song for rainy days like this one. It has a shuttle happy theme but still contains a calm almost melancholy sound to it.
I wonder if were gonna listen to any of the singles the Beatles came out with. Ide like that :)
